The Palos Verdes Tennis Club, a non-profit foundation, was founded in 1963 under terms of a concession agreement between the Club and the City of Palos Verdes Estates, the owner of the land on which the Club is situated. The Club is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the members.
To provide for the enjoyment of Club members and guests, and to permit orderly and fair management of the Club's facilities, the following rules have been adopted by the Board of Directors. They may be amended by future Board action.
The Club manager and staff are responsible for insuring that members and guests comply with the rules. Your cooperation is expected and appreciated.
General Rules for All Players
Tennis attire (clothing designed for tennis wear) is required for all players. Tennis shoes are required.
Proper court etiquette is expected of all players.
No pets are permitted at the Club.
The clubhouse is open from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Monday through Friday; 7:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. on Saturday; 7:30 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. on Sunday.
The clubhouse may be used for tennis related parties by members and guests, but not exclusively used by any one group, as it is to be available to the membership. A fee will be charged for organizations using the clubhouse, and a member must be present.
Users are responsible for cleanup. Please check with the Club Manager concerning social use of the clubhouse.
Gambling for money in the clubhouse is not permitted.
Lockers are available for annual rental to members. Check with Club Manager.
All players are expected to help keep the Club facilities neat and in good order.
Use of Courts
Courts are available for use by members and their children, guests of members, and by non-member residents of Palos Verdes Estates during the following times:

- Non-playing Juniors under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a non-playing adult.
- Juniors playing with adult members share the playing privileges of the adult member.
- Juniors will always have at least one junior priority court during non-racking times. This may be expanded during the summer vacation.
